Review: The Goddess Gift Box

I was gifted with a Goddess Gift box set. My opinions are 100% honest and my own.

I was pleasantly surprised when I the creator of the Goddess Gift Box reached out to me to review her amazing gift box. Filled with amazing natural products, this box definitely encourages self-love and self-care. It was a perfect excuse to put myself first for once.

 The “Me Time” box which retails for $80 helps nurture your inner goddess and help you grow in your spiritual practice.  This box includes six full-sized all-natural products curated to enhance your mind body and spirit.  The set includes a Goddess Yoni egg, Yoni oil, a deliciously scented soy candle, and a soothing instrumental CD perfect for helping you relax after a long week. 

So here is the scoop on the gift box content:

Soy Candle

I absolutely love scented candles! And the Me Time soy candle does not disappoint. It smells sooooo good. The bamboo coconut candle has a soft aromatic scent that reminds you of being at a spa or a tropical location. I love soy candles because they burn cleaner, last longer, and they are much more aromatic than other candles. They also don’t contain any toxin or pollutants, so they are less likely to trigger allergies. The Me Time candle comes in a 6-ounce tin jar and will burn for up to 60 hours.

Goddess Yoni Egg

If you’ve never heard of a Yoni egg, you are not the only one. Yoni eggs are made of precious stones (think diamonds and rubies) or semi-precious stones (think jade, crystal, and onyx). These stones are carved and polished into an egg shape and the belief is that you wear them inside your vagina to improve vaginal muscle tone, hormonal balance, and feminine energy. 

It is reported that most women use the yoni egg in addition to doing Kegel exercises to help strengthen vaginal and pelvic floor muscles. Simply insert the egg and squeeze and hold the pelvic floor muscles (the same muscles you would use to stop your urine flow midstream) for up to 10 seconds and then release. You want to repeat this exercise a couple of times a day.

Although there benefits to using a Yoni egg, there is some drawback you should be aware of like pain or infection.  As always check with your doctor before incorporating these exercises into your self-care practice. 

Yoni Oil

The Yoni Goddess Oil is an organic artisan oil used to help restore vaginal balance and rid your lady parts of bacterial overgrowth. Made with natural ingredients like aloe, coconut, and rose quartz, the oil is designed to be used in two ways:

For preventative care and maintenance spray a small amount of the oil on the outside of your lady junk after showering or taking a bath.

Yoni oil also helps with minor infections. The directions state to insert half a teaspoon of the oil into your vagina twice-a-day until the infection disappears.  

I’m a firm believer that you should always do your research before of shoving anything up into your fun box, so make sure you do your research.
